Accountability

Ensuring that care promotes dignity and respect for both residents and care providers requires standards and a way to guarantee that these standards are met. The Accountability theme seeks to identify those strategies which help promote conditions of work and care that make residential facilities a place where people want to work and live, while encouraging the best use of resources.

What are the promising practices in approaches to accountability that nurture care and inspire quality workplace relations in long-term residential facilities?
